Katsuyasu Yoshie graduated from Law Department of Tokyo University in 1927.
Katsuyasu Yoshie served as chief of Koishikawa and Shinagawa Police stations, chief of Peace Preservation Section of Yamanashi Prefectural Government, chief of Traffic Section of Metro politan Police Board.
He became chief of Police Department of Saga Prefectural Government in 1939, chief of Physical Education Section of Welfare Ministry in 1941, chief Civil Administrator of the army in 1943 and Yamanashi Prefectural Government in 1947.
Elected to House of Representatives in 1952 and later became director of Japan Fire Defense Association and Japan Red Cross Society.
