Career
Political In 2009 and again in 2014, as a candidate of Bharatiya Janata Party from Sonepat, she was elected as MLA of the Haryana Legislative Assembly, India. She was elected in 2009 and 2014 from Sonepat as a candidate of Bharatiya Janata Party. On 26th October 2014, she was sworn in as cabinet-rank Minister in the Government of Haryana.
In 2014 she was appointed a Cabinet Minister in the Government of Haryana and has independent charge of the following 3 departments. Department of Social Justice & Empower, Haryana Official websiteDepartment of Women & Child Development, Haryana Official websiteDepartment of local bodies, Haryana.
