Yadegar Moxammad the son of Astrakhan khan Qasim.
In 1542-1550 he was in the service of Tsardom of Russia, participated in the attack on Kazan in 1550. In 1552 he was invited by Qol Sharif (Qol Şärif, ) and Chapqin bek Otich uli (Çapqın bäk Otıç ulı, ) to the throne of Kazan Khanate. Subsequently, he led the war against Russian invasion.
He was captured in August 1552 when Russian troops took Kazan.
