Career
Served as president of Ushibuka fleika Kaisha (Ushibuka Ice Candy Company) and official of a few other local industrial companies and organizations. Elected to Kumamoto Prefectural Assembly (1951) and served as its vice-chairman. Became chairman of Ushibuka City Chamber of Commerce & Industry in 1951. Holds various additional posts including those of president of Nakano Fishery Company (since 1943) and Ushibuka Ice and Cold-Storage Company.
