Kazuo Kitamura became secretary of Nichiro Gyogyo (Fishery) Company, auditor of Nagoya Lumber Manufacturing Company, representative director of Tsurumi Chemical Research Institute, Tsurumi Chemical Industry Company, Yamato Cement Manufacturing Company and Godo Civil Engineering Company, director of Nihon Asparagus Company and auditor of Watarase Gravel Company and Toyo Sankin (Metal Mining) Company. He elected twice to House of Councilors (1947 and 1953) and became Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Agriculture & Forestry.
