Against Oxford University, Barlow was dismissed for 5 runs in Kent"s first-innings of 182 by Ronald Lagden, while in their second-innings of 70 he was dismissed for a duck by Philip Le Couteur.
Against Cambridge University, Barlow was dismissed for 6 runs in Kent"s first-innings of 267 by Humphrey Forman, while in their second-innings he was not required to bat, with Kent winning by 10 wickets.
