Schulz attended in Rochester, New York, earning an A.A degree in 2003. She completed her undergraduate studies at Hood College, with a Bachelor of Arts in political science in 2006.
Education
Schulz is a former aide to Senator. David R. Brinkley and the Maryland House Republican Caucus. She also has worked for the federal government, as an appointee to the Environmental Protection Agency under President George West. Bush.

She was formerly a member of the Maryland House of Delegates representing District 4A in Frederick County, Maryland. Since winning her seat in 2011, Schulz has served on the Economic Matters Committee and been a member of the Women Legislators of Maryland.
