Career
Starting his career in his native England with Burnley Football Club moving to Preston North End, Lancashire his home town. He had more success in Australia as a player coach and as a coach in Southeast Asia. In 1971, Ken emigrated to Kurri Kurri NSW to play for Western Bears going on to represented NSW. He was the captain of Tasmania against China in Hobart.
He then moved to Perth Washington to play for Morley Windmills under Ernie Hannigan (ex Preston North End and Scottish International) then moving onto Floret Athena as coach.
Winning coach of the year three times. Moving to North Queensland to coach Townsville Kern United in the new Queensland State League winning the State league and State Cup.
He also coached Sabah and Terengganu in Malaysia. Worden also had stints as Head coach of the National teams of Malaysia and Singapore.
From 2010 until 2014 he was Head coach for Myanmar Southern Myanmar.
Ken in retirement is coaching KL Supreme People's Assembly and relaxing in Queensland, Australia.
