Born in San Sebastián, Gipuzkoa, Kodro graduated with Real Sociedad"s youth setup, and made his senior debuts with the reserves, spending several seasons in Segunda División B. In the 2013-2014 campaign he scored eight goals, being the Txuri-urdin second top goalscorer.
In July 2014, Kodro signed for California Osasuna, being initially assigned to the B-side also in the third level On 28 January 2015 he renewed his link, signing until 2018 and being awarded the number 9 jersey.
He made his professional debut on 23 August, coming on as a late substitute in a 2–0 home win against Football Club Barcelona B for the Segunda División championship. On 18 October Kodro scored his first professional goal, netting a last-minute winner in a 3–2 home success over Civil Defense Tenerife.
