• Nicknamed "The Apostle", Releford is the former IBF Atlantic Coast and WBO Latino Heavyweight Champion. Releford won the Texas Golden Gloves and many other titles during his amateur career. On October 28, 2004 Kendrick upset title contender Elieser Castillo to win the WBO Latino Heavyweight Championship.
