Career
3rd Generation: (about 1830). Was formerly of the orthodox new Ikuta school of koto players and later originated the Nakajawa school.
4th Generation: (about 1850). Lived during the last days of the Edo Period; had a number of disciples and his school flourished in Osaka.
8th Generation: (1877-1929). Originally named Shin. Was the composer of Showa-no-Sakae (Glory of the Showa Era).
