Career
He was an adept pupil of Kyoichi Matsumoto. Was often asked by Shogun Ieyasu and Hidetada Tokugawa to play before them. Among his distinguished pupils were Kodera-Kengyo, Maeda-Kengyo and Yamada-Kengyo.
