He graduated from Tokyo University (1925).
Career
Kenji Takahashi became professor of Seikei Higher School (1925). Succeeded Kunio Kishida to the post of chief of Cultural Division, Imperial Rule Assistance Association (1942).
Returned to teaching profession as professor of Chuo University (1951). He was director of Japan Society of German Literature, Japan Translators Association and Copyright Council.
