Shako & Partners became one of the leading consulting firms in building services and valuation of plant and machinery. It changed it's name to Shako Kenya in 2012, and is practising in that name todate.

Kenneth Shako graduated from the University of Nairobi, Kenya, in 1972 with a Bsc. Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering. After a series of training periods locally and overseas, he was appointed an assistant engineer at Kenya Breweries Ltd. He later left Kenya Breweries to join an engineering consulting firm, where he honed his skills in design and supervision of building services. Ha later founded Shako & Partners, consulting engineers.
