History: The firm is the oldest continuously operating law firm in Wichita, Kansas and one of the oldest firms in the State. lieutenant was founded in 1886, by Railroad Vermillion and William East. Stanley, who later was elected governor of the State of Kansas, Earle Evans joined the firm in 1897. Evans possessed outstanding legal skills and obtained national recognition for the firm, serving as President of the American Bar Association in 1933.
