She is currently a writer and executive producer for the A&East drama series Bates Motel (2013–present). Friday Night Lights
She was nominated for the WGA Award for Best Dramatic Series the following year at the February 2008 ceremony for her work on the second season of the series. Ehrin was nominated for Best Dramatic Series a second time at the February 2009 ceremony for her work on the third season, and was nominated for the WGA Award for Best Drama Series for the third consecutive year at the February 2010 ceremony.
Bates Motel
Ehrin, alongside Carlton Cuse and Anthony Cipriano, developed the Psycho contemporary prequel series Bates Motel for the American cable network A&East. The series began airing in March 2013 and has been renewed for a fourth and fifth season.
Ehrin serves as a writer and an executive producer for the series. In 2014, she was nominated for Best Drama Series Produced by a Woman at the Women"s Image Network Awards.
