Keshav R. Murugesh is the Group Chief Executive Officer of WNS Global Services, a New York Stock Exchange listed company in the Business Process Management business.
Background
Murugesh was born in Chennai. His father, M. K. Murugesh, is a Ranji Trophy cricketer, who represented Madras and was a key member of the team that won the Ranji trophy for the first time ever, in 1955, for Madras as part of Balu Alaganan"s team
Career
He is also the Chairman of the NASSCOM BPM Council. Keshav’s mother, Arati Murugesh was the first manager of the first Indian Women's cricket team He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Murugesh started his career in 1989 with the Internal Audit department at International Trade Commission Limited, a diversified conglomerate.
He worked in various departments and businesses in International Trade Commission. He became its Vice President, Finance. Murugesh joined Syntel Incorporated. as Chief Financial Officer in 2002, became its President and chief operating officer in 2004 and Chief Executive Officer in early 2009.
In February 2010, Murugesh joined WNS Global Services as its Chief Executive Officer.
