Career
He is known for many roles, including Doctor of Science John Wadsworth in Happy Valley and in the television series The Lakes (as the character John Parr), Coronation Street, and The Crimson Field. Doyle played Joseph Molesley, the Earl of Grantham"s servant, in the television series Downton Abbey.
