Career
After winning the junior silver medal at the 2015 United States. Championships, he was assigned to the 2015 World Junior Championships in Tallinn, Estonia. He qualified for the free skate after placing 16th in the short program and finished 20th overall. Shum was born on July 3, 1997 in Walnut Creek, California.
He is studying computer science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
He lives in Burton-Conner House.
