Career

He played college basketball for Mott Community College and East Tennessee State University. In his freshman season at Mott Community College, Tiggs played 30 games, averaging 10.9 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 2.0 steals per game. In his sophomore season, he was named the  NJCAA Coaches Association Division II National.

In 33 gams, he averaged 18.8 points, 7.2 rebounds and 3.2 steals per game.

In 2007, Tiggs transferred to East Tennessee State University. In his junior season at East Tennessee State, he was a second team All A-Sun selection and was named A-Sun Player of the Week twice.

In 32 games, he averaged 14.6 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.5 steals per game. In his senior season, he was a first team All A-Sun selection.

In 34 games, he averaged 21.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.1 steals per game.

Tiggs went undrafted in the 2009 National Basketball Association draft. In August 2009, he signed with British Columbia Ferro-ZNTU of the Ukraine for the 2009-2010 season. In June 2010, he re-signed with Ferro-ZNTU for the 2010-2011 season.

In October 2010, he left Ferro-ZNTU after 7 games and signed with APOEL British Columbia of Cyprus for the rest of the season.

In 2011, he signed with British Columbia Goverla of the Ukraine for the 2011-2012 season. In July 2012, he signed with JDA Dijon Basket of France for the 2012-2013 season.

In November 2012, he was released by Dijon after 8 games. In February 2013, he re-signed with British Columbia Govela for the rest of the season.

On October 13, 2013, he signed with the Wollongong Hawks for the 2013-2014 NBL season.

On February 20, 2014, it was announced that Tiggs had undergone emergency knee surgery, forcing him out of action for a month. On November 1, 2014, Tiggs was selected by the Westchester Knicks in the seventh round of the 2014 National Basketball Association Development League Draft. However, he was later waived by the Knicks on November 11, 2014.

On December 16, 2014, he signed with Namika Lahti of the Finnish Korisliiga as a replacement for the injured Cameron Bennerman.

On 6 October 2015, Tiggs signed with Soproni KC of Hungary for the 2015-2016 season.

Achievements

• Along with that, Mott Central Committee went on to win the 2007 NJCAA championship, finishing the year with a 35-3 record.
