In 1809, Kharlampy Grigoryevich published a prose True story in the magazine Northern mercury. This work was in the spirit of the Karamzin school, which is a lyrical outpouring of Platonic feelings of the hero. Several poems, fables, and the Opera's libretto have been preserved in the verses Fire from thunder, or the Reward of faithful service.
