Career
Worked as school teacher, principal and inspector. Until World War 2 also worked for Arm newspaper. During World War 2 war correspondent.
From 1946 worked for “Literaturnaya gazeta”. Criticized for deviating from principles of “socialist realism”. 1963 attended session of Central Committee, Communist Party Arm on development of Arm literature

Presidium member. Arm Writers’ Union from 1959. Communist Party member from 1943.
