Established Yamagata Prefectural Agency of Standard Vacuum Petroleum Company (1928), Yamagata and Akita sales departments of Ford Motorcar Company (1930) and Sales Department of Yamagata Prefectural Match Manufacturing Company (1939), becoming representative of each company.
Appointed president of Yamagata Kotsu Jidosha Shoji Kaisha (Yamagata Transportation & Motorcar Trading Company) (1939). After serving as president of Yamagata Prefectural Motorcar Distribution Control Company and official of several other local industrial organizations became senior managing director (1952) and then president of Yamagata Transportation Company.
Held additional posts of president of Kita-Nippon Tire Company and Yamagata Prefectural Tire Sales Company, director of Yoshii Shoten Company and vice-chairman of Yamagata Chamber of Commerce & Industry and official of a few other local industrial organizations.
