Education
First studied under Keisbo Ikai and, graduated from Shobeiko (Shogunate's college) in Edo (now Tokyo).
Career
After graduating from Shobeiko, became lecturer to Owari Clan. After the Meiji Restoration(1868) served the new Imperial Government and was made senior secretary in Ministry of Justice.
