Left Junior College Department of Kansai Gakuin without graduating (1904). Went to U.S.A. and graduated from Sociology Department of California University (1910) and then studied for three years at the Postgraduate Department of the same university.
Kiichi Kanzaki appointed chief secretary of Nihonjin-kai (Association of Japanese Residents in USA) (1916). Returned home (1921). He served successively as dean of Higher Commercial Department of Kansai Gakuin University, dean of Commercial & Economics Department and president of Kansai Gakuin and president of Kansai Gakuin University. Kiichi Kanzaki went to Honolulu to attend Pacific Affairs Conference as Japanese delegate. Made inspection tour of Manchuria, China, South Seas, Europe and America several times. Served also as director of Private Universities Association and official of a few other educational organizations.
