Of her college days, she said "Having studied in a boarding school, where most of the girls were from aboard, living and studying in Ahmednagar came as a culture shock".
Kim made her acting debut with “Mohabbatein” directed by ace filmmaker Aditya Chopra. An intense love story, “Mohabbatein” starred bollywood biggies like Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The film became a huge box office success and Kim’s performance was well received. However Kim Sharma could not give another hit and began to feature in multistarrer films.
