Kimmichi Ogimachi was a disciple of Ansai Yamazaki, the originator of the Suika Shinto Sect of Shintoism.
Kimmichi introduced the sect to the Imperial Court. The sect was also call-ed Ogimachi Shinto after his name. In his late years, he painted as a hobby and also composed kyoka, or satirical waka. Wrote books on Shintoism.
