Kimura Shiroshichi graduated from the Law Department of Tokyo University (1927) and from the postgraduate school of the university (1930). He became student official of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and assigned to America (1930-1932).
Kimura Shiroshichi was assigned assistant to the consul at Harbin (1934). He served in various offices of the Ministry in Japan, and assigned to the Japanese Embassy in China as secretary. He was appointed consul at Hong Kong (1941), secretary of Embassy at Peking (1942). After the war, Shiroshichi worked at the Central Liaison Bureau of the Ministry and became director (1949). Kimura Shiroshichi was appointed Minister to Ceylon (1953), and assigned to the Deliberation Office of the Ministry (1955). Kimura resigned later the same year, and became councilor to the Deliberation Office.
