Kinji Mori, Japanese computer science educator. Recipient Excellence Technology Achievement Special prize, Ichimura Foundation, 1994, Min.'s Outstanding Achievement Research award, Japanese Government, 1994.


Mori, Kinji was born on January 3, 1947 in Tokyo. Son of Tokuzo and Masa (Suzuki) Mori.


Bachelor of Science, Waseda University, Tokyo, 1969. Master of Science, Waseda University, Tokyo, 1971. Doctor of Philosophy, Waseda University, Tokyo, 1974.


From researcher to chief researcher Hitachi Ltd., Tokyo, 1974—1997. Professor Tokyo Institute of Technology, since 1997, chair department computer science, since 1999. Advisory professor Southwest Jiaotong University, China, since 2000, Northern Jiaotong University, China, since 2002.

Honorary professor National University of Science & Technology, Pakistan, since 2000.
