Education
In 1921 Kintaro Yanagi graduated from Medical Department of Tokyo University. Went to the USA for study as an overseas research worker of Rockefeller Foundation in 1923.
Career
Taught as lecturer at his Alma mater. After serving as medical expert with Government of Manchukuo became professor at Taihoku (Taipeh) University in 1943 and director of National Nutrition Research Institute in 1948. He has been a professor of Tokyo Ika Shika Daigaku (Tokyo University of Medicine and Dentistry). Since 1953 he has been a director of the hospital attached to the same university.
