He became a graduate assistant after two years as an offensive quality control assistant. New Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer has decided to retain him. He was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the seventh round of the 2008 NFL Draft of the National Football League.

On August 24, 2010, he was waived by the Broncos and claimed by the Carolina Panthers. However, after three years, he decided on retirement.
