Kisaburo Takai was born in 1829 in Gumma, Japan.
In the Gomangoku Sodo (revolt of farmers in Takasaki Clan) he was the leader of the inhabitants of 45 villages and agitated for reduction in taxes (1869). He was arrested and executed by the castellan.
