Rhymer was a four year player for the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1998-2002. Since beginning his professional career in 2002, Rhymer has bounced through nine teams on four continents. These include:

He played with the team at the 1999, 2003, 2006, and 2008 Centrobasket tournaments.
He also participated with the team at the last place Virgin Islanders at both the International Basketball Federation Americas Championship 2007 and International Basketball Federation Americas Championship 2009.
