Career
Between 1971 and 2002 he was in government service. After the election, he was elected as Speaker of the Legislative Assembly. He retained his constituency in the 2008 election, and was then elected Speaker for a second term.
At present, he is the Minister for Public Health Engineering after retaining his constituency for a third time.
