Graduated from Keio University in 1924.
Career
Entered Kanegafuchi Spinning Company (Kanebo) and gained fame as a confidant of Shingo Tsuda, president.
While early in service went to China and had many years of service abroad, being especially conspicuous during the war as a “Manchurian Commissioner” for various companies affiliated with Kanebo.
After the war served as vice-president of Kanebo and thereafter was appointed the president of the newly established Kanegafuchi Chemical Industry Company which separated from Kanebo in 1949.
