Career
He made his debut in professional football, for Roda JC vs Nippon Electric Corporation Nijmegen on 15 November 2008. In the summer of 2010, he signed with amateur side, EVV, who had just promoted to the new third tier in Dutch football. A year later, Knops returned in professional football as he signed with MVV Maastricht.
