Lived in North America and performed with touring Jewish groups. From 1903 acted in Boston, New York, Piladelphia and Toronto. From 1910 concentrated on operetta and variety roles.
Toured in Britain, France, Italy and Russia. 1934 assumed Soviet citizenship. Directed Jewish variety company which toured Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics.
Roles: appeared in Yungvits’ operettas: “Jeikele Blofer”, “Leibele Odessit”, “Berele Tremp”, “A Manitoba and His Wife”, “Mile Goplya” and “Alma, Where Do You Live? ”. Musical comedy roles in: Rakov and Rushinskiy’s “Khanche in America”. Katnel’son’s “Anna Blaib”, et cetera
