1885 graduate Women's Medical Courses, Nikolay Military Hospital.
After graduate health officer From 1890 worked at Saint St. Petersburg Clinical Institute of Postgraduate Medical Training. Simultaneously assistant professor, Chair of Histology, Saint St. Petersburg Women's Medical Institute.
1903 transferred to Saint St. Petersburg Institute of Midwifery (now Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Academy of Sciences), where she founded a laboratory and chair of normal and pathological anatomy and histology of the female sexual organs. 1921 defended doctor’s thesis on uterine fribroma. During World War 2 did research on wound infection.
Spezialized in histogenesis of tumors (especially cancerous) of female genital organs. Also did research on reticuloendethelial system. During blockade of Leningrad helped to organize and run hospital service.
Honorary member, Leningrad Social of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Wrote I 25 works.
