Career
Kofi Mensah (born March 8, 1978 in Koforidua, Ghana) is a Dutch-Ghanaian football player. He currently plays as a defender for Tema Youth. Mensah began his career in 1996 at AFC Ajax.
After three years with the club, he moved to NAC Breda.
In June 2003, he moved again to ADO Den Haag. Mensah played for Anorthosis Famagusta Football Club in the 2004-2005, but decided to leave after he had not received two months of salary.
He then tried to get a contract at Football Club Emmen, Helmond Sport and South Carolina Cambuur, but in vain. In February 2006, he moved to Football Club Omniworld until the end of the season.
In 2006, Mensah moved to the Rochester Rhinos in the United States, before returning to Tema Youth of his native Ghana and became the captain.
He has played for the Netherlands U-21 team He was called by AFC Ajax Fans Kofi "met gebak" Mensah and in Breda Kofi "on the rocks" Mensah.
