In the same year of his graduation Kohei Koide was appointed teacher of Kagawa Normal School. Later he was appointed professor of Peers' College (1937) and assigned to the music education of the Crown Prince. Kohei Koide was an editor of the magazine "Kyoiku Oncjaku" (Music for Education).
