  • Achievements include development of novel method to enhance the light emission efficiency by designing the coupling of energy between excitons in the quantum wells and surface plasmons. Research in nano-fabrication of Gallium nitride-based materials by electron beam lithography and anisotropic ion etching, and demonstrated interesting optical properties in Gallium nitride nano-structures. Research in characterized Indium Gallium Nitride-based quantum wells to understand the emission dynamics and brightness of these materials that are rapidly emerging as the light emitters of choice for a wide range of applications.

Patents for electric field sensor for three dimensional video image recording-and-reproducing apparatus, detects change in electrostatic capacitance between electrodes due to orientation of liquid crystal.
