Career
Began his cameraman career with the Miyako Shimbun. During World War II, he was in Singapore where Konosuke Ishii photographed the meeting of Gen. Yamashita and Gen. Percival at the time of the unconditional surrender. After the war, he worked as deputy chief of the Photo Section, Tokyo Shimbun.
