Brigade comissar, Latin Rifle Division. Edited a peasants’ newspaper. Member, editorial board, journal “Tseltne”.
Secretary, Bureau of Latin Writers. 1921-1937 lived in Moscow and worked as a writer and journalist. Wrote mainly on Civil War themes.
Also wrote humorous, critical and historical articles 1937 subjected to reprisals by State Security organs.
Communist Party member from 1918.
