1919 graduate Medical Faculty, Sorbonne University.
1916-1923 worked under P. Mari in Paris. 1919 defended doctor’s thesis on pathological anatomy and clinical aspects of Parkinson’s disease. 1926 returned to Russia.
From 1932 head, Chair of Nervous Diseases, Saratov Medical Institute. Did research on histopathology of nervous system. Devised “niger” theory of Parkinsonism.
Wrote some 100 works.
