1893 graduate Natural Sciences Department, Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, Kazan’ University. 1897 graduate Medical Faculty, Moscow University.
After graduate worked as a physician in Bogorodsk, Moscow Province. 1901-1907 worked in Yalta Uyezd. During Russo-Japanese War worked at a hospital in Manchuria.
1905-1907 took active part in Revol, for which he was arrested. 1907 exiled to Yadrin. 1908-1911 worked as a physician at a sugar refinery in Brailova, Podol’sk Province.
1911-1938 worked in Yadrin, Chuvash Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, where he performed a total of 30,000 surgical, gynecological, eye and other operations. Did research on use of dialectic method in medical. Championed application of Marxist-Leninist principles in medical in a series of polemical articles published by journal “Khirurgiya na rasput’i”.
Lectured on medical dialectics at Leningrad and Kazan’ Institute of Postgraduate Medical Training. Also did research on health service organisation, medical statistics, medical training and clinical observation techniques. Devised several new operations.
Attended several Russian and All-Union surgeons’ congresses. Chaired four congresses of Tatar physicians. Chairman, 3rd Congress of Volga Physicians.
1932-1938 bd member, All-Union Social of Surgeons. From 1927 member, Chuvash Central Executive Committee. Also member, Yadrin City Soviet and Yadrin City All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) Committee.
Wrote 84 works.
