In 1859 Konstantin Konstantinovich graduated from the Poltava cadet corps.
Konstantin Konstantinovich taught at military schools - the Chuguev Central School (1871-1875), the Saint Petersburg Infantry Junker School (Deputy, then acting chief).
As the author of many textbooks for soldiers and popular essays from military history, he entered the literary and pedagogical field in the early 70s of the 19th century. Since 1892, he was a retired Colonel.
He collaborated with the magazines "Chitalnya narodnoj shkoly" ("Reading room of the people's school") (1888), "Dosug i delo" ("Leisure and business") (1889), "Rodina" ("Homeland") (1880-1890s).
