Kose-no -Kimmochi

Background

Kose-no-Kimmochi was born circa 950. He was the son of Kanaoka and the younger brother of Kintada.

Career

Kose-no-Kimmochi was appointed Edokoro-no-Choja (head painter to Imperial Court). According to the Genji Monogatari he painted a picture of a scene that was held at Daigyokuden Palace.
