Kosshibe-no -Zenni

Background

Kosshibe-no -Zenni was born in 1171. She was the daughter of Take-nobu Fujiwara. She was adopted, however, by her step-father Toshinari (Shunzei), whom her mother married after the death of her father.

Connections

Kosshibe-no -Zenni was lady-in-waiting to Princess Akiko, daughter of Emperor Toba, under the name San Jo. Later married Mi-chitomo Minamoto and became the mother of Tomosada.
