Career
Kozo Matsumoto entered Dai-ichi Bank in 1915. Toured Europe, America, Australia, India and Dutch Indies inspecting bank business from 1936 till 1937. Became manager of Kabutocho and Fukuoka branches of the same bank in 1938 and then manager of Fukuoka Branch of Teikoku Bank. After Dai-ichi Bank was temporarily named the Teikoku Bank became manager of its Fukuoka Branch in 1943. He became director and manager of Kyoto Branch in 1945 and then auditor of Dai-ichi Bank in 1948. Resigned in 1950. Became director and then senior managing director of Showa Sangyo Kaisha.
