The Colorado Rockies selected him in the 7th round of the 2010 MLB Draft. The Rockies added Sitton to their 40-man roster after the 2013 season. He was non-tendered on December 2, 2014 and became a free agent.
The next day, he re-signed with the Rockies on a minor league contract.
